Boomteelttechniek 2005

1. Stand on information fair

On the information fair a distinction is made between indoor- and outdoor presentation and an outdoor presentation with own demonstration possibilities.

Indoor stand space:

It is possible to rent an indoor stand space of 25 m2 or multiples of this. The facilities included in participation in this category are:

  • Stand in the big service building or adjacent tent.
  • Stand with 3 walls.
  • A neutral, flat floor.
  • Power supply as requested by you on enclosed registration form.
  • Advertisement in programme guide in half-page size.
Outdoor stand space:

The facilities included in participation in this category are:

  • Outdoor stand on the paved terrain adjacent to service building.
  • Stand consists of a luxurious party tent that can be closed on 3 sides.
  • A floor of wooden platforms.
  • Power supply as requested by you on enclosed registration form.
  • Advertisement in programme guide in half-page size.
Outdoor stand space and free demonstrations:
  • Set-up and facilities like outdoor stand space.
  • Own area of land of approximately 500 m2 where you can continuously demonstrate machines and/or where you can lay out demo fields as of March.
  • In consultation with the organization the best location will be selected and you can indicate whether the area should be paved or not.
The organization offers the following to all exhibitors:
  1. A luxurious party tent of 5x5 metres on your outdoor stand space and inside a walled stand of 25 m2.
  2. Advertisement space in the programme guide (on half-page basis), which is also your entry ticket. In addition to an overview of all activities the programme guide includes for every machine one page with technical data and data of the supplier.
  3. Demonstration and promotion opportunities with minimum own efforts.
  4. An excellent meeting place for prospects to buy machinery: highly qualified audience with regard to interests and buyer response.
  5. Central canvassing and publicity for visitors.
  6. Information about the subject and participants is sent to 3000 - 4000 interested growers of trees and perennial plants in the form of a programme guide, which is often kept as reference work.
  7. A special magazine about topical issues in the field of recent developments, innovations and products is sent to, amongst others, the readers of the Dutch magazines 'De Boomkwekerij' (The Tree Nursery) and 'Tuin- en Landschap' (Garden and Landscape).
  8. Much press publicity and attention for these demo days in the national and international specialist publications by means of advertisements, articles and press releases.
  9. Publicity on machinery via the www.boomteelttechniek.nl website with links to company websites.
  10. Free exhibitor entries: 5 per company and 2 per machine.
  11. International attention for these demo days.

2. Guided Demonstrations

In addition to your stand presentation you can also participate in guided demonstrations according to the programme below. During two days with on the first day three individual demonstrations (morning, afternoon and evening) and on the second day two demonstrations (morning and afternoon). The working of the machine is explained, the machine being in the spotlight for all visitors and getting full attention. The circumstances for demonstration are very well. Companies that wish to demonstrate more than one machine will be contacted personally and special price agreements will be made.

2a. Avenue trees and stem cultivation

During the guided field demonstration you will have the opportunity to demonstrate a machine under as much circumstances from practice as possible. In already planted fields the machines will be shown to the audience one by one and an explanation will be given. The audience will get a guided tour along the various machines so a complete overview is given of mechanization possibilities for avenue tree growing and stem cultivation.

You can participate with machines from the following categories:

  • Mechanical weed killing
  • Spray technology
  • Innovations in other types of machines
2b. Shrubbery of trees and hedges, ornamental shrubs, conifers, roses, perennial plants and fruit trees

On a separate field various types of crops will be planted in order to be able to demonstrate machines in crop specific situations. Machines can be used for various crops. In consultation with the supplier the crop will be chosen that will make the machine show up best. During the guided demonstrations the audience is guided along the machines and the working of every machine is explained briefly. At that moment there will also be an opportunity to give a live demonstration of the machine. You can participate in the following categories:

  • Mechanical weed killing
  • Spray technology
  • Pruning
  • Uprooting
  • Innovations in other types of machines
2c. Guided machine and system demonstrations in container nursery production

During these guided demonstrations the audience is guided along the machines and the working of the machines is explained briefly. Per machine or series of machines a practical set-up is chosen so a live demonstration can be given with potted plants. The machines are exhibited in a covered area. The suppliers of soil bases will get the opportunity to lay these bases before or during the demo days; this will be done in consultation with the organization.

3. Workshops and product presentations

During the demo days you will have the opportunity to present your products, services or innovations via workshops or lectures. The organization provides a special room with presentation facilities and it will give publicity to your presentation. The room capacity is approximately 100 people and you can rent this room per hour on first come, first served basis. Your presentation will be announced in the programme guide.

General preconditions for participation

  • Only machines recognized by law may be used.
  • Per category only one machine per brand is allowed to participate.
  • The organization points out that you yourself are responsible for your people and goods.

Terms of payment and delivery

The General Terms of Delivery of DLV Adviesgroep apply. After registration, the organization will contact you to discuss your wishes so your participation will give optimum results. Upon confirmation of definitive participation, the final terms of delivery will be discussed, like agreements on insurances and the like.

Furthermore, the organization will apply the following additional terms of payment:

  • 50 % two weeks after confirmation of definitive participation.
  • 50 % two weeks before the opening of Boomteelttechniek 2005.
  • No payment, no participation.

Registration can be cancelled till 21 May 2005 (you will only be charged for the incurred costs).
